Symposium Overview
The Annual Ronald E. McNair Commemorative Celebration and Research Symposium are designed to commemorate the life and accomplishments of the late Dr. Ronald E. McNair, an alumnus of North Carolina A&T State University. The Symposium will provide undergraduate and faculty scholars the opportunity to present research findings, hear, and view cutting edge research; engage in meaningful dialogues; and network with other scholars and graduate school representatives while celebrating the life and achievements of Dr. Ronald E. McNair.
Who May Present
Student and Faculty Scholars who have conducted research and presented their findings in poster or oral format are invited to make presentations. All presenters must submit their ABSTRACTS for inclusion in the Program Proceedings along with a completed Abstract Submission Form, which can be found on the Presenters page under the Symposium link on the NC A&T McNair Web site, via email to Jebrown3@ncat.edu . The deadline for submission is January 18, 2010.
Symposium Features
- Graduate/Professional School Fair, which will feature the country's top graduate schools.
- Networking Opportunities - Students will be able to interact with other scholars and graduate/professional school representatives.
- Presentations - Scholars will present research findings and be exposed to the best minds in the frontiers of research education in the United States.
- Publications - Scholars will have their research published in the Celebration/Symposium Program Booklet.
- Cultural Events and Social Activities

§ Early bird Registration - $200.00 until December 11, 2009
§ General Pre-Registration - $250.00 until January 18, 2010
§ General/On-Site Registration - $275.00
